For the acting issue: You need to stay on your home lot, that's all. From the moment you went to the audition till the gig starts, stay at home and you should get the popup. So you CAN'T travel to another lot or got o CAS (by using mirror or dresser)
For the other issue, there has been another similar report but that seemed to be due to a corrupt save so which is why I asked if it also happens if press new on the main menu and start a fresh family for testing purposes.
If you want to talk to the EA Support team, you need to contact them directly via live chat.They will probably just redirect you to the bug report on the actor career as that's a known issue and other than using a mod/the workaround, there are currently no solutions. Maxis will need to patch this.
If you want further help with the not being able to go to Uni or Work at home careers/active career other than actor, let me know.
@crinrict As u mention I didn’t travel stayed at my home lot and before that I have cancel the last gig and enrolled a new one. But the result is the same. The sim gone by him self and pass the audition. 😂

Not quite sure about it. They attend to lecture as late every time 🙂 but I guess there are no options for us to attend to lectures with sims right ?
