No aging pop up, travel to prom fails, unable to woohoo or break up

Question

I've had these issues since 8/8/24, I then updated using the new patch around 6pm and they still persist.

When my teen Sims aged up via birthday cake they successfully blew out candles, did and spin and "aged" however no pop up appeared which usually details young adulthood and should have allowed me to allocate them a third trait.

My teen Sims were unable to travel to prom: the pop up appeared at 7pm, I selected the Sims to travel with, the screen loaded, then the world selection menu appeared with the pop up that it failed to launch and it was recommended I restart my game. I did this and it didn't do anything

My Sims are also unable to woohoo, then can interact romantically through kissing, flirting, etc but they are unable to woohoo or try for baby. I select the option and they have the flirty chat before hand and then they seemingly reset themselves. (Can be observed through them straightening their arms and then a blank facial expression for a second).

My Sims are also unable to break up with eachother: they can perform the interaction and animation occurs but following the completion of the action the relationship bar remains unchanged and there are no new moodlets.

I have cleared my cache, repaired my game numerous times and have no mods

Any help greatly appreciated

no actual error code pops up on the screen, the sims simply blow out the candles do the spin and nothing else happens. Upon playing further in my game I have now realised that my teen aged up to ya is still regarded as a teen. Options such as signing up to cupids corner are restricted as it says only ya, adults or elders can use it. This explains why the woohoo isn’t working. Is it possible to age down a sim after they have their degree and they will still have it technically as a teen. I’m considering aging my sim down in cas, saving and meaning then entering cas again and aging him to ya. Thanks so much for replying in the first place!

The aging up issue is a known bug

Teens have a teenie kind of version for woohoo, should be called make out.
