No Early Graduation Option

I can't get the option for early graduation to be available, all I have is the drop out option no matter what I do. My teen has an A and has leveled more than two skills over level 4 and still cant get early graduation. I pulled the mods folder, repaired my game and no dice, my teen can't graduate early. I even tried trait cheat and that didn't work either.

Am I missing something or is my save bugged? Can I fix it, force or cheat it? This is throwing a spanner into my plans for this save.

  • Update and solution: So, what seems to have worked for me was to use the cheat early graduation trait and to send the tee off to school by themselves. This gave her the early grad trait but left her still enrolled in school. The next school day I sent her alone again and then, at last, the popup asking if I wanted the teen to graduate early or not popped like it was supposed to. I chose yes and was told her diploma would arrive soon and she was un enrolled from high school as expected.

I don't know if it would have fixed the problem if I had used the cheat by itself or sent the teen off to school alone of if it required both options together but it worked, at last. Maybe this will help others with the same problem down the road.

  • Ok, I got the graduate early trait cheat to work after I sent the teen off to school alone. It seems like the teen is still enrolled in school though and I don't know if she'll get a diploma or not or have trouble enrolling in uni or getting a job once she ages up to YA. I'll have to see if there are more issues as a result of having to do things this way.

When you have a Sim that qualify for early graduation you get a popup from the headmaster informing you on that with an option to say yes or no.

I know that was what was SUPPOSED to happen but the popup never happened and the option for early graduation was grayed out even though my teen met all the requirements. It was just not happening for me.
