No Jealousy?

I've tried multiple times to get sims to get jealous of their signifigant others cheating/flirting infront of them and so far nothing is working. They are not phased what so ever. I've even had someone woohoo and have their wife walk in on them. Nothing. Is this a glitch? Or is this supposed to be in the game.
