When I click on my fridge or stove it does not give me the option to bake a cake - it gives me the option to bake breadsticks, brownies, etc. but no option to bake a cake. I've turned aging back on and disabled all CC's and I have also reset my game. Need to age my toddler up asap ☹️

Strangely enough the baking skill doesn't have cakes. Cooking and gourmet cooking does; You'll find chocolate and vanilla cakes under the cook option at level 1; other cakes show up the higher level your sims have in cooking or gourmet cooking.

YES! thank you. I'm so glad to see this post. I agree! I feel a slight annoyance when i see it but it's valid! Why is there a baking skill but cakes fall under cooking.. it's very obvious but here we are. Hopefully this simple change occurs.
