No romance option

Hi. I've been away for 2 weeks and there was no issue with my game. I loaded it up yesterday and I noticed that there was no romance option after I clicked on a sim, despite them having no relation to the family in any way. At first I thought it was my mods that was causing the issue but I updated them all and got rid of a couple that I thought was causing it but it still isn't there. There's only friendly, funny, mean and mischief. I have no idea what to do and have asked a couple of discord servers that have a sims chat in them but the person who replied hasn't had this issue and thinks it could be a bug from the recent patch. Does anyone know what to do, or has anyone had this issue at all? I just wanna chill on the sims lol

    Please move your mods folder to the desktop, delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > localthumbcache, repair your game and then try again on a backup of your save to see of you can duplicate the issue on a game with no mods.
