One Save or Multiple Save for your Families?

@tmcevoy1121, I agree with @puzzlezaddict .  As a control freak, most of my saves have just one family per save, and I have a lot of save game files! 😃  I do have a few saves that have multiple families, though.  I use these for testing to help people who play rotationally, and sometimes I just will play with multiple families in one save just to change things up a bit! 😉  But the vast majority of my saves have just one family.  I do not like to miss out on anything, and I have found for me the only way to ensure that is to play with one save per family.  But that is probably too restrictive for many people, because as @puzzlezaddict  said, you can't play both sides of friendships if you only have one household per save.  Also, when a household has family members that grow up and move away, you will have to choose which family will be the one you play if you only play with one family per save.  This makes extended families a problem unless you keep them all in one house! ☹️  

You will just need to figure out what works best for you! 🙌  You might end up trying both extremes (a bunch of families in one save versus a bunch of families in their separate saves, and decide you prefer it somewhere in the middle, with a small or moderate amount of families in each save. 😉

One thing to beware of is that if you have the Discover University EP , it is best not to jump back and forth between your university Sims, and their families or other families as then your university student will probably fail their classes!  So, while playing university, just concentrate on your university student until they graduate, and then you can resume switching households within a save until the next Sim attends university! 🤨  Many people found that rotational play does not work well with this pack 😢, so I am very fortunate that my playstyle of having each household in their own save works nicely with this pack! 🙂
