As the title says, my sim seems to be unable to adopt a cat. I go through all the usual popups for the adoption but the cat disappears when the time runs out. No adoption has taken place. 🤷🏻♀️
Either I am not doing something right or there's an issue with the optional task which has not been marked off. 😒
I have tried adopting via both phone and computer, hasn't bad a difference. 🙆🏻♀️😭
Edit: to clarify this is tied to the Event.
Did you try another household/save ? Did you remove all mods/cc ?
There's always been all kinds of reports about adopting pets so this might not be directly related to the event.
Wholesome_Goth There have been reports so I don't think it's related to the event as such. Did you try if it works on a new save ? Make sure to pick a lot with lots of space.
It's a new save started at the beginning of the event. I have tried two different households and tried adopting through the phone and computer. I don't have any mods or CC installed. 🤷🏻♀️
I don't think the $200 adoption fee is taken out of the household funds, even after all the adoption related popups.
As for the event, I just meant the optional task is also not getting checked off after my sim has supposedly adopted the dissapearing cat. 🙆🏻♀️
