Overhaul Lactose Intolerance Game Application
Let me start this off by saying I am very sensitive to lactose. Most lactose intolerant people can consume two glasses of regular milk a day if consumed in small quantities with food. I am not one of those people. A regular bowl of cereal has left me in excruciating pain for hours. I cannot consume cream, milk, or cheese directly as my body makes me hate the taste of it.
HOWEVER
The extent to which lactose intolerance effects sims eating habits is off the charts. A bagel isn’t considered lactose free, when most are in fact lactose free. Playing with simple living on, you can cook an item that doesn’t list milk as an ingredient or only have plant milk on the lot and somehow the outcome isn’t lactose free? What’s the point of having a non dairy milk alternative in game if the finally product is considered to contain dairy?
When I seen the lactose free batter option I was really excited to be able to make waffles and cakes for LF Sims, but you can’t even cook with the LF batter.
All the special mushroom soups that came with Cottage Living only require the mushroom too cook but somehow non of them are dairy free? Most mushroom soups are cream based but you can use non dairy milk.
Exotic Fruit tarts are LF, but chocolate donuts aren’t when they both use Dough and Egg and the only difference is chocolate and the fruit.
