Picking up multiples of the same item

Was watching James Turner's Cottage Living early access playthrough and noticed he had a big problem when moving the fridge to the house inventory to renovate the house because the game put all the food, items and produce that was in the fridge inventory into his inventory instead (click to watch that part). So when he moved the fridge back in place, he had to pick each item one by one to move them into the fridge. This is not that big of a deal with you got like 5 items. But he had dozens of each type of produce and that took a long time to finish. I know it's only early access and things can change before the release, but I also know this is something we still can't do in the base game anyway and it's a much needed/requested quality of life update. It's going to be especially annoying with the Cottage Living expansion because of how much produce the sims will keep getting from the farms.
