  • @shatterme I usually see this as well when I first place the plants from my family inventory, but it usually corrects itself as soon as I leave my lot & return, or if I save + exit and then reload the game. Can you see if this works for you?

I'll go ahead and Me Too this. My Sim does year-round outside gardening so she rotates plants in and out of her family inventory at the start of each season. It always annoys me when the plants say "out of season" even if it does correct itself.

@shatterme @RandomBuzziness   One thing that I do for a just in case scenario if I have to replant a garden (or when you lose credit for your collectables by moving in and out) is keep a few of each plant seed in a storage chest (usually 3)  I never considered putting them in the family inventory because if you have high numbers, it's such a pain to lay them out on a floor so I can put them back in a sim's inventory or plant later.   I don't do much planting though since I put my gardens in a basement level just so I can get year round harvests on all of them so once they are a high quality level, the only time I plant anything thing is if I'm trying to complete the aspiration when the kids age up to teen.  I also keep high numbers in the fridge and flower station too.  Nothing like running out of what you need when you need it because you've got to wait on replanting.

Hybrid plants grafted with non seasonal fruit will not go out of season even if the main season don't match.  You just won't get the seasonal fruit from that hybrid plant but your get the non seasonal fruit.  They will still go dormant in Winter though.  Hybrid plants when you graft Fall and Spring plants together will give you a duo season harvest, which your get both plants during the Fall and Spring because they are graphed.  for example I want a lot of death flowers, so I grew the deathflower bush to get the cutting, deaethflower only gives you a tiny bit for harvest so I cut the plant, and plant trash fruit bush and than when it grows up I graft it now, the deathflower harvest rate is the same as the trash fruit bush.

@Sid1701d9  I find that very interesting.  When I've created hybrid plants, I noticed at times that they only bore one fruit or the other while others would bear both.  I hadn't connected it to seasons since I put my gardens in a basement level to get year round harvests.  I just assumed that the graft didn't take.  But what may be really happening is that the spliced plants may only bear the fruit which is in season, despite the fact that they are in a sheltered locations.  I'm going to pay a little more attention to my spliced plants now.  Thank you for that tidbit!
