I have a townie named Miwa, but, for the life of me, I can't figure out her origin or her maiden name (she is married to my founder sim). She has no "previous family members" so I can't even go based off of that. Does anyone know of a townie named Miwa that can help me figure out her maiden name? I would post a screenshot of her, but I've modified her in CAS with CC already 😢

@AbsIRLyou could try Sims Wiki Fandom as they have a list of known Townies/Households that arrived with each pack. Might be worth a try, it does tell you the names, backgrounds and relationships of the various households.
If she's just a random Townie then she won't have a family tree if she was solo when she was generated by the game and that may make it trickier unless another player knows of her. Her name isn't ringing any bells for me, I've had a quick look through Other Households but I cull Townies regularly unfortunately so I may no longer have her in my game if she was there.

I've added all the premade Sims to a spreadsheet I keep for my big rotational save, and there isn't one named Miwa. That means you either downloaded her from the Gallery, in which case you can search for "Miwa" in case that's part of the household name there, or the game created her during gameplay.
If the game created her during gameplay, there isn't a way to find out her maiden name, and she'll have no relatives if she doesn't show in game now as having any (she will have been most likely created as a one-Sim household). You can just invent a maiden name for her records, as there's no "right" answer that's traceable.
