Question on Elevators

Just have a question, how do you get the elevator to down to the basement from the main level of a home? 

I also want to thank whoever did the elevators this will help me in my story-line for my sims.

    Fengjui​  Elevators in TS4 are transport portals and are always used in pairs with one being located out in the world and the other on a lot like in San Myshuno.  I just tested and found that you can only place one elevator on a residential lot.  The build system will not allow you to place another even with MOO on.  So, basically, there is no way that I know of that will let you do what you are trying to do.  

    Depending on how you feel about aesthetics, RoM has Arch transport portals that will work for what you are trying to do.  They work in pairs so you can get from one floor to another.  And I believe you can have more than one pair on a lot.  Not sure on that last as I've never tried that.
