Child Sim just sits there when playing in sand.
Hi! I've been wondering if anyone else has had this issue recently? Since I haven't really seen any threads or discussions about it. But whenever I go to the beach with a family or to the park, my infants, toddlers, teens and adults can play in the sand just fine and build sand sculptures. But when a child sim does it, they just sit there. They're still making progress in the bar and if they're building a sculpture it does get built. But it's still very annoying. I've tried playing with different households, different saves, both with and without mods, before and after patches and repairs. But it still persists, so it has to be some kind of bug. But if so, other people should ideally have it too?
Scenario Parenting Predicaments
I recently started the scenario along with High School years. When Leonardo and Sofia aged up to teen, she was able to graduate early but Leonardo who studied everyday, got all A with the notification of valedictorian, hasn't been able to graduate early or even got the notification of the graduation ceremony like I have attended in the past. I don't use CC, mods or cheats.
Sims 4 a lot of bugs
- My sims keep getting stuck I am doing a 100 baby challenge (no mods or CC) and I have 8 person household sims keep getting stuck and I need to refresh them every 5 seconds they do not perform tasks. - When giving birth to the hospital the needs get maxed out but as soon as returning back to household they become really low. - Objects keep disappearing. - Game freezes upon opening for a while. I get a dark screen and I have to change tabs in order to get unstuck. My laptop is new and a gaming laptop that runs much heavier games smoothly so that's not an issue.
Specific directions to the Library in Verdemar
Hi. I had my Sim explore Verdemar very recently. There is a lot called hardcover, I believe, that is a library by day and something more at night. This was suggested as the best place to hold a Royal press conference. (It comes with the royal podium.) If someone knows exactly how to get there, I would be very grateful. My poor young regal Sim has to hold yet another royal presser and this will be his third ---- mind you, his scandal is considered a minor one. (I would really hate to see what happens were any of my Sims to manage to commit a more serious scandal.) 😮 😮 🙃 Please, and thank you, in advance. ~GalacticGal
Black widow challenge achievement reset
I started the Black Widow Challenge not too long ago. I figured I could do the challenge and complete the achievement but for some reason the game keeps resetting my count on the achievement. I have 5 dead spouses. All have died by "natural" means (2 to a meteor, 2 to cowplants and one to overexertion). At the last log in prior to tonight's, my achievement progress was at 4/5. But when I logged in tonight to play, husband number 6 died and I didn't get the achievement, so I checked and it says 0/5. Anyone else ever experience this issue? [CM edit - descriptive title]
outdoor enthusiast aspiration unidentified plants
In the outdoor enthusiast aspirations wilderness explorer milestone identify all unidentified plants remain incomplete. I have identified all of them and have them all in my inventory but it remains 8/10. here’s the list: 1- chamomile 2- toxic chamomile 3- fireleaf 4- poison fireleaf 5- morel mushroom 6- false morel mushroom 7- huckleberry 8- muckleberry 9- elderberry 10- noxious elderberry and i have all of them. please help me solve this problem. (a cheat will also work!)
Stair Railing UI not Appearing
Hey so with the new update I can flare the stairs but the railing UI is not popping up at all. I can not select the railing on either side or where to place the railings start or stopping. Doesn't matter if it is a new lot or not, or Custom Content or not it wont show up. As you can see below, can flare the stairs, just UI for the Stair Railings wont show up
Successful Rotational Gameplay without MODS
I started a rotational gameplay save prior to Lovestruck. I used mods to help set up relationships between the neighbors and managing some aspects of the game like aging, pregnancies, skill etc to help create backstories. I do not use mods anymore as I do not have the patience nor the motivation to keep up with updates as lots of mods end up not being properly managed and get abandoned by their creators too often. I noticed when Lovestruck released my families and their relationships took a huge hit when I was not actively playing them. I would play one family for about 4-5 sim days then move on to the next. When I would load the marriages always ended up in divorce or I was constantly having to rebuild their relationships because the decay was rapidly decreasing. Even with the use of UI cheats it was still a daunting task. I eventually shelved the save and haven't touched it since. Now that I no longer use mods I am wondering if anything has improved with tuning relationships so they aren't deteriorating at a rapid pace, are they more manageable now with any updates? Are there tips to going back into rotational play to prevent relationship decay or should I abandon the save entirely and give up playing rotationally? I am cleaning out my saves I have stored and I am checking to see if anything has changed.
I'm so excited! (Getting an external hard drive)
I finally got tired of only being able to play with just some of the EP's, GP's, SP's and Kits that I own. So I looked into getting a cheap, just 500 GB external hard drive. I'll be able to play with ALL my Sims 4 content finally! AND get MORE if/when the want and the money coincide, heh! I CAN'T WAIT! It's supposed to get here on Monday. So in between then and now, I'm trying to plan out what to do to get ready for it all. Does anyone have any suggestions? I may need technical advice regarding the external hard drive itself. But I CERTAINLY need some Sims 4 advice and suggestions! I don't even know where to start once I'm able to play with ALL my game content!?! LOL 😅 I'd love to hear from others who got external hard drives to keep their Sims 4 stuff safe and to be able to play with it all. So if you feel you can/want to comment here, please do!
