Ranch Hand won't leave
My ranch hand won't leave. I cancelled the service and even fired her, but she won't leave and now there is a second ranch hand on my lot.

I will resurrect this post to share what worked for me. I don't know which of these things was the magic solution, but this is the order in which I did things.
> ctrl+shift+C
> Type testingcheats true
> Fire ranch hand
> shift+click on the ranch hand and select "remove from family"
> shift+click on the ranch hand and select "Edit Sim in CAS" to verify she was not somehow in my household
> In CAS, all I did was edit her outfits, then I clicked play when I was done
> Back in live mode, I fired the ranch hand again, and she finally left
