Re: Cat issue

@harleyquinn24 Lol yeah cats can be stubborn in this game! xD The auto-clean litter-box needs to be emptied every now and then so make sure that is not the problem. Cats will occasionally have trouble finding a litter-box if it is on a different floor, i.e. if the litter-box is upstairs and the cat is downstairs. Often I will just pick up the cat and set it down in the same room as the litter-box & they will finally use it. Maybe give this a try and see if it works for you.

Good luck, I hope this helps =^.^=

    Hi!

i had emptied the auto cat pan.  Also the cat went into the room with both cat boxes accessible.  I figured it was a glitch.  I don’t play with pets so if this is normal then now I know.  Does it matter that it was a kitten?  I had played a game with a cat once and never had this issue before.

    thank you for your help!

@harleyquinn24 I've had kittens before and they can be just as stubborn as adult cats but they should be able to use a litter-box just fine. It's possible this is just a glitch, like maybe a stuck hidden buff that is triggering the "i want a clean litter-box" animation. Have you tried doing a resetSim on your pet? From my understanding, resetting your Sim should cancel your Sim's wishes and moodlets, so maybe it will work on a stuck hidden buff as well?

Next time I get a pet I will try that if I have an issue.  Other people on the Sims forum seem to have an issue as well.  Thank you for the suggestion.
