I'm on the first task for "On the Hunt" and wouldn't you know it, none of the mirrors let my sim have the event specific pep talk. I've made them sad/embarrassed for the game's pep talk, but apparently that doesn't count. I've placed every mirror, free standing and wall, to see if maybe it was just all my house's mirrors, but no. The option to do the event's pep talk doesn't show.
You have to be embarrassed to do it, but I've done it several times and it never counts.....no mirrors seem to make a difference
I guess to circumvent this at least for the time, try doing absolutely nothing and only helping certain needs and try to let your bladder go down only until you pee yourself, OR you could use a moodlet object to cause embarassment OR you can use the skill level specific ability of meditation to make yourself embarassed. They really shouldn't put things behind fomo anyway... this is ridiculous and as it's breaking, not many people are getting the goodies...
