@ProbablyBadIdea  If you didn't make a backup and never uploaded your sims to the Gallery, then no, there's probably nothing you can do.  EA doesn't support cloud saving for Sims 4.  You might get lucky and have some leftover files stored in OneDrive (Windows) or iCloud Drive (macOS), but there's no guarantee.

    @puzzlezaddict Thanks for the reply, I checked my OneDrive and there were some of my sims that had been backed up to it. Unfortunately my newer sims hadn't been saved but at least I have a good portion of my sims back.

    @ProbablyBadIdea So sorry. For the future, if you ever make a sim you think is extra good, upload it to the Gallery. In the description I write, "uploading as a backup" so others need not complain of cc or other things, and I do that despite of having a huge portable harddrive that I regularly make backups on. One can not have too many copies. And trust me, I've learnt that the hard way.
