@Brina2K15 The EA App doesn't allow for custom install locations. But you can install Sims 4 wherever you want. You can set the default install location for games within the App, and you can also choose a custom location when you tell the App to download any particular game.
Mods and custom content are always located in Documents > Electronic Arts by default regardless of where you install Sims 4. If you want to change this location, you'll need to use a symbolic link:
