Gallery missing news feed

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.98.127.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Every expansion pack, game pack and stuff pack apart from Star Wars.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load the game and click the link for the gallery on the main menu.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can no longer see the gallery news feed, I like to see what my friends have shared, we are a close group of friends who support each other and give positive comments on items we have uploaded to the gallery. I also have downloads missing too, which isn't major, but when you work hard to put out nice builds, then the number of downloads gives you a boost.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the news feed, the total number of downloads.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The patch that was released on 31/05/23.

    I used this to check the number and type of downloads of my stuff in the gallery. The Gallery is now back but no News Column. Puzzled.!!!

    Hi,

    when i open the Gallery the News tab is gone. Now i dont see what the people i follow are uploading and i get no notifications ....

    How do i fix this?

    @Everjinx1201 

    Since It was intentionally removed when they made the big change to the gallery there is nothing for you to fix. They intend to bring it back at a later time after some work.

    The repair game function now seems to be working again. Thank you EA. I have still not got a News Column in my Gallery though.

    The game is more than broken. The news feed has vanished taking away the social side of the game. Please fix this and return it at once.

    @MapleSimmer I am not only missing the news tab but also all the people I was following. And I put a lot of effort into gathering those. Im really tired of their “improvements”. They just keep messing with my game. The game also deletes sims that are supposed to safe. No it’s not mods. Their culling system culled my household. One I was actually playing and was in my safe tab. Every time I post issues they just blame mods. This is just another update that just messes things up instead of fixing. They should concentrate on improving the gallery’s search engine not culling the news. You can’t find anything on the gallery on its own without googling it first, filters at non existent and nothing is done to make the gallery easier and more efficient to navigate. Once again there was an idea but no follow up. And yes some people will say hashtags are a way but people
    Put moronic unrelated hashtags on their creations. Hashtags that make it impossible to find anything. And then there is the most popular. It’s only most popular because the engine is not updated and no one can make anything popular anymore.

    a lot of others peoples gallery's are being fixed/useable now but mine still doesnt work i use the gallery for sim baseplates and houses without this i basically cant play the game
