@throwingachild As far as I'm aware, without mods, only male sims have the chance to return pregnant from an abduction.

Ah ok, I thought I saw it in an unmoded play through somewhere but I may have been mistaken. Thank you for clarifying for me.
Has this been fixed? I don't want to waste my time trying if it is still broken.
There isn't anything to fix. The game is working as intended, as already pointed out by @Moozilla13 .
The OP had a female Sim getting abducted. Female Sims are not supposed to get pregnant from abduction, so there wasn't anything wrong. Male Sims can still get pregnant from abduction, as far as I know.
I misunderstood. When I took a break from playing, the alien abduction pregnancies did not work. Females could never get pregnant from abduction.
