Re: Growing Together - Preorder bonus issues

I have also contacted the third-party retailer (for me it was GameStop) and they told me that it was an EA issue due to how the codes they have were delivered by EA and if the bonus content was not in the redemption code then EA didn't give them codes with the Outdoor Playtime Digital Content. To me, this almost seems like false advertisement because the Conditions and restrictions apply. See https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/news/the-sims-4-growing-together-disclaimer for details says "This promotional offer expires April 27, 2023. Valid for new purchases of The Sims™ 4 Growing Together Expansion Pack (“Product”) from the Origin Store (origin.com), the EA app (www.ea.com/ea-app) or participating retailers. Redeem code for packaged Product by April 27, 2024 to receive bonus content. Bonus content will be automatically entitled for digital Product." and I checked to see if GameStop is a "trusted retailer" and I got this list on their official website

"North America:
Amazon
Best Buy
GameStop
Target
Walmart"
And since GameStop is part of that list then it is nothing I or any of us did wrong. Meaning that this is an EA issue that needs to be fixed. I'm sorry if this sounds like I'm trying to be rude or mean. I just contacted 5+ (I lost count) EA help advisors, 3 GameStop help advisors, and an in-store GameStop manager to piece together what is wrong with the code I was given. The last advisor told me (which was the only advisor that told me this while the others told me that there was nothing that they could do "just contact GameStop") that the team seems to know that the problem is there and working on it but they don't know when it might be fixed. I mostly wrote this to help prevent others from the irritation that I went through the past 3 days to get an actual answer. Anyways, I hope this is helpful and I hope everyone on this discussion board is having a delightful day despite all the confusion.
