@gina_asf Are you sure the Sim is a toddler and not an infant ? Can you do all the other toddler things ?

defiantly a toddler and not an infant. can do all other toddler interactions but sometimes they do cancel out. I do have mods/cc installed and do not receive any error notifications
This is happening to me now too. No mods. Any suggestions?
do i have to completely remove them or can i just turn them off?
@gina_asf You have to remove what's not compatible anymore and check for updates on the mods. Always keep your mods/cc up to date.

@ashesx90 And you're sure they're toddlers ? No Mods = Never had mods and also no cc ?- @MomoAnita and you're sure it's not an infant ?
I am having the same problem. I have just added Horse ranch, Jungle adventure, and another stuff pack which i can't track down the name of just now. I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with one of these. While the kid has aged up to a toddler, the game still thinks it is an infant as it won't sleep in a bed but it will sleep in the cots/cribs (which is new content - so the cause may be whichever pack these come with?). It's an odd and frustrating bit of a bug. I have no idea about how to resolve it. I might try moving them to one of the previous existing world's as I am currently playing in the one that comes with horse ranch and hopefully it resolves, otherwise my sim's kids are just going to be absolute underachievers!!

I have no idea how to do that. I don't do mods or anything so are you able to tell me how to do that please?

- Backup your save game
- Open the cheat console with ctl-shift-c
- Type: Testingcheasts true
- Type: cas.fulleditmode on
- Shift click on the Sim and choose Modify in CAS
- You should now be able to choose a different age class for the Sim so choose infant
- Exit CAS and then age the infant back up to toddler with the cake.
- @mandarees You say the cribs are new content - these were added to base game at the same time the infant life stage was added. Are you sure they’re not an infant (not newborn)? Life stages are newborn (object tied to bassinet), then infant (uses crib), then toddler (can be potty trained), then child, teen, young adult, adult, elder.
I have the same problem and i'm playing the base game...
The only thing that is'nt working for the toddler is the potty chair and the toddler bed.
I used just the moveobjects cc and the motherlode.
Is it possible that it's because the sim is from the gallery? It's not suppose to have cc in it..

What exactly happens in your game ? Could you maybe add a pic ? This issue just happened with me recently, no changes that i'm aware of, except the last update, with putting in baby food.
I figured maybe there is a 2nd stage for a toddler to go through eventually?
As their skills are not available either, communication, creative, etc.
Not able to use the potty.
Due to what's going on, I am wondering if there is a NEW process, or 2 step process for the toddler to age now. And what is that process?
Do they have to try all the baby foods first?

yup, we can't potty train because there is NO skills to be able to teach them anything, except eat baby food in a high chair.
