I download Sims I want to use from the gallery and make any changes I want to them in CAS and then I resave them to my library, I can then use the #mccc_include tag on my version of the sim and delete the gallery download version from my library and let MCCC do it's tray import magic.

Another option is the set MCCC to use any sim in you library regardless of author or tag.
