Hi there @Whirlwind5089,

Are you playing with the Laundry Day stuff pack? If so, make sure you have clothes hampers around your house so any dirty clothes are automatically placed into the laundry hamper. If the hampers are full though, your Sim will need to wash the laundry to prevent any more dirty clothes from piling up on the floor.

If you'd rather not play with the laundry system at all, you can remove any washers/dryers from your household entirely.

    Hi, I don't have the laundry day expansion and yet laundry was appearing beside where my Sim was every time the changed clothes or showered when playing this evening. I do not have any sort of items that could be considered laundry hampers or other laundry items in my building. Has there been an update to bring laundry to base game and if so, how on earth do I turn it off please? I have enough laundry in real life without adding it to my downtime 🤣
