Re: My sim can't join the debate organisation (Discover University)

@Emerald_Eunicorn If you know these friends are in the debate team and you see no option to be let in/join in any of the social options on any of the members at a social event (go to the University Kiosk > 'Get University Info' > see when events are held... Please refer to this guide: https://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/expansionpacks/discoveruniversity/student-organizations.php

If none of this is working like in the guide, do you have Mods/CC? Sometimes code from a Mod or CC may need an update and may be interfering with a part of the game functionality. If you move your Mods folder to your desktop you can check if the functions work properly then to test whether this is the cause.

Hi. I'm also having this exact issue. I do not play with any mods/cc.

My sim traveled to where debates were held & introduced herself to 4 people who had "debate participant" and "debate judge" over their heads - were wearing the debate outfit - and even participated in 2 debates herself by clicking on the debate podium. Despite all of this, no option to "join" the debate organization showed up: not under activities, hobbies, small talk, etc. And I even befriended one of the 4 people I spoke with and even after befriending that person, no interaction with that person showed up. It's completely missing!

Your Sim has to be attending the University of Britechester to join the Debate Guild. Foxbury students, and other Sims, can attend and participate in the debates, but they can't join the organization.
