Do you have City Living? During the Flee Market you can sometimes buy them, or else there's also an option to exchange collectables with other sims, I think the second one is better as it feels more immersive as it's harder to get the trophies you want. On the other hand, I think I was able to find like all trophies but one, do not remember which though (did it last year)...
Hrm... City Living hadn't quite grasped my interest, so no... I don't own it. Well, I guess I'll just keep up the endless search, since you remember being able to get three of the Rare ones by just looking. I just wondered if anyone else had this problem, if there was something more you had to do to get the last four, or if there may be a strange inability to get them now that may coincide with how something you could get before no longer can be gotten outside of cheats.

If you like collecting things City Living also has the snowglobes and posters 😉
Try searching for the trophies in different towns and areas, just like fish some might be more common in some places!

Ah! I'm so bad. I didn't look hard enough to find a post before making this one. Thanks for sharing it with me! Hm... seems a lot of the trouble happened after GTW came out... Interesting. I cannot really see the Collector Sims of all of my current households going into the field, however... Dang it, if they are mainly "spawning" in Sixam, then make it so Sims can get the last four by building a rocket ship in the main game and acquiring them there with the space rocks and aliens! XP
