I'm experiencing a similar issue (I think) at the moment. My sim is at level 10 in the matchmaker route and has been going to work with all promotion and daily tasks fulfilled and the performance tick yellow, but hasn't been getting the "promotion"/raise. Her salary is still $402, which is the base amount for this job according to the 2 main Sims guides. While googling to see if this was a known bug, I came across another thread from 2017 that had a few people with similar issues from the City Living jobs. Someone had determined that it's because the "overmax" levels (which allow sims to get promotions/raises after maxing the career) weren't enabled for the City Living careers. I'm guessing this is what's happening here, so would you be able to feed this back and get it fixed? Or confirm if this is/isn't the case with the Romance Consultant career?

I've made a new thread here https://answers.ea.com/t5/Game-Issues/Romance-Consultant-career-bugs/m-p/13925095/highlight/true#M15624
There's been a development; the game has some sort of disconnect with her being in this career after choosing to gain fame and lose her job and she's got the fame and still kept her job.
