Re: Sims 4 DLC PC codes on Amazon for Steam deck?

@MarshmallowTsuki  If you can get Sims 4 running on your Steam Deck, which is apparently not all that difficult to do, then you're running the PC version.  So a PC code, one you'd add to your EA account, would work in theory.  However, double-check the Steam forums to see whether there's any problem downloading packs from the EA App.  You'd still be launching Sims 4 from Steam; the issue is the downloads.

If you want to double-check, try redeeming the free holiday pack in the EA App and see whether it installs and loads correctly.  If it does, then there shouldn't be any problem with packs you purchase, including those from Amazon.  If not, then you may want to buy exclusively through Steam and skip the Amazon codes.
