@SimCraz3d First the unavoidable question: Any mods/cc in your game ?

There is a bug in the game where NPCs burst in your home to propose and and ask to be BFFs but yours sounds a bit different cause with that, they don't show up anywhere you go.

Your Sim isn't a celebrity right ?

Yes, I do have both mods and cc in my game. No, she isn't a celebrity. I try to make sure all my mods are updated, but maybe I missed something.

@SimCraz3d Best to try without them (on a copy of your save) to see if the same issue occurs.

Oh no! It's happening even with the mods removed. I removed all my mods and played my save. I noticed that my sim's stalker followed her to a restaurant and asked her to be best friends. I played for a day and a half and he never showed up at her home. However, her friend came over and walked straight into the house. If it's not a mod, I am not sure how to resolve this. It is quite annoying.

Oh okay, this must be one of these glitches that people are saying makes the game unplayable. I hope it gets fixed or that a workaround is introduced.

@SimCraz3d It's probably best if you check if you still have issues after the bug gets fixed (whenever that will be)

this is happening to me right now. I think this is a bug and it just came back because all my mods and CC is updated. when my Sim leaves a lot, they follow her back home then they leave I don’t have them as groups and I know I’m not the only one because someone just made a post saying this too. The game is really broken bad and I don’t have all the packs.

Try turning off NPC Relationship Autonomy and see if that helps.
Go to Options/Game Options/Pack Settings. Scroll down to High School Years and uncheck NPC Relationship Autonomy.
