Some foods don't add to your sims weight, although this was not intended it was just never implemented.

You can make your sim eat this food to prevent them gaining weight.

Also it's good to note.. to stay slim use the treadmill or go jogging, to build muscle use the weight lifting machine. If all you do is lift weights you won't lose weight.. just add muscle to your current frame. I'm not sure yoga does anything for muscle or weight. The punching bag definitely builds muscle but I can't tell if it makes you lose weight or not.
