Re: What Careers Would You Like To See in The Sims 4!!!

Love your career ideas. Would also love to be able to run a B&B. Taking bookings from sims for a chalet or room etc and having a checklist they must fill in with regards to which types of foods they eat or not. Would the couple or family like scheduled picnics and asking for recommendations for fun activities. Preparing guest rooms and meal plans would be awesome.

also more interactions for butler would be great, like: helping children with homework, helping with skills and being able to tell butler to help child with motor skill etc. Also being able to ask butler for a specific meal.

    @stephfourie Yeah, I would love to be able to open your on B&B. I hope that they would make it into a system that is simple where you can create any type of B&B, Motel and Hotel. Not like dine out where they made it to where you own a restaurant and have to have a host. To me that isn't realistic. I agree about taking books and having a checklist. I don't think the system for it should force you to have room serves because things like motels don't normally have them but the option to have it and being able to meal plan etc.....

    We do need a revamp of the butlers. I wish we could ask for specific and more things like you said.

    @Aquasims1415 Yes would be awesome and agree dont want to have to be the host for it to work. should be able to hire someone to work for me and set goals for employees. B&B wont work for hotels but for homes you want to turn into B&B and options on how to run it.
    Resorts were my fav in sims 3, with sims 4 would be great if they could bring it in and add singing career so that we could have an entertainment ball room or something in resort and hotels where we have a stage and singers can get gigs there and for special occasions, say a saturday night, resort owner can hire singer or singers to perform for an event of sorts...poker tables, roulette etc would be awesome addition. Hiring ballroom with option of hiring entertainment like a singer or pianist or both for weddings etc then making it closed function to resort or hotel guests...

    I would like to see a "freelance" version of the musician, where you can accept gigs to play instruments or sing in a party, wedding, concert, and even together with other Sims in a band.

    @stephfourie Yes yes and more yesses. I'm writing this idea down so if you can think of more or just different entertainments, feel free to leave your ideas.

    I really think they need to add more and redo weddings

    @stephfourie , @babuchas01 , @Aquasims1415 , @DonroaAkashu  I do wish that we could have hotels, resorts, or Bed & Breakfasts in the game!  The little cottages that we will be able to have in the new upcoming Cottage Living Pack would make perfect B&B's!!!! 😃  (The pack does come with an English Pub, but I'm guessing those won't include a career choice for out Sims.  ) 

    As for singers, I would love for a Band Pack (either a Game Pack or Stuff Pack most likely) that allows our Sims to preform together with different instruments and a singer but with the addition of drums! 🎼🎵🎸🎻🎹🎤🥁🎶  This is similar to what was in The Sims 2 and the Sims 3.  They could either busk for tips together or go on gigs!

    @PugLove888  Yes, I was wondering about the little establishment in the trailer for the new EP, and if it is to be a new lot assignment or just a restaurant with the new build items! It would be fun to run a pub!

    @DonroaAkashu , My guess is that it is just a place that your Sims can eat at.🙂  Or perhaps kind of like how the community lot bars operate.  I doubt it is like a restaurant, or that we could work there, (unless it was just as a bartender! 😉 )

    Oh, yes, that's right, restaurants is a feature of a pack, not base game, so it couldn't have been! That is very promising.

    The hotels and B&B's would be nice to have.especially with staff that are programmed for each position inside the business.
