@GiardiniDiMarzo Yeah, I missed Media Production. Sorry about that. I just counted and once I got to 16, I thought that was all, but it is 19 now when you include riding and robotics. I never play pets, so my children never learn pet training until they are teens and that the classes at the University. I just plain forgot about the robotics issue.
The video station is the way to go for Media Production. Just have them record videos (add charisma) and when they edit the vids, they gain the media production skill. Depending on if the children have the top-notch infant and top-notch toddler traits, it usually takes between 6 to 8 fully edited videos for most. The video station does seem to have a problem these days. Don't fill it up and get 8 videos in its inventory. If you do, the inventory seems to lock up and you can't do anything more so do the editing them then submit them before the inventory gets to 8 vids. If you do get it locked up, it will clear eventually but it might be days or take a few reloads of the lot. And when it does, you lose everything in there. The drones can be more trouble than they are worth, and they can get lost a lot, especially if you forget and travel, go to CAS or save and quit before it returns home. You do need to upgrade them, otherwise they tend to drain their power and just set down wherever they are in the zone. So, once you figure out it didn't come back home, you have search for it. In the bigger zones, it is hard to find them sometimes. Then you have to send a sim to go pick it up if it is off the lot. Occasionally, they lose their owned status too and can be hard to recover. Tbh, I don't use them anymore due to losing them on more or less a routine basis. I just use the vid station.
They can learn robotics reading the skill books but a word of warning. You might not be able to get it to level 10. I was using the books for both robotics and horse riding and found that if they ever stop after they've gotten the skill up to about 7, they will not continue with the 3rd book. That's not limited to children either. It seems to be for all sims that can read the skill books. Tbh, I think kids being able to learn robotics via the books is most likely a bug because it there is no other way like the vast majority of the skills. They can't use the robotics station. And the vast majority of their skilling involves at least one object they can use to learn on. The exception being Vampire Lore which is just reading.
Hope this helps.
