@IsabellaCatkite If you don't remove your mods and CC from your Mods folder before you install a patch, the game will automatically disable mods and CC in your Game Options settings. This is to give players a chance to check for updates for their mods and CC and replace anything that's been outdated by the patch before you load a game save. Playing with outdated mods and CC can cause problems in your game and even ruin a game save.

Before you re-enable mods and CC try to make sure everything is current and compatible with the game patch. Then go into your Game Options screen and check the boxes marked "Enable Custom Content and Mods" and "Script Mods Allowed" and restart your game.
