Reaper career can't reap

Product: The Sims 4
Platform: Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time so far 
What is your current game version number? I don't know
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Expansions minus horse ranch, dating, werewofl
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Do the reaper career until you're sent to reap a soul. If multiple sims, one might be missing. If single sim, there will be an urn.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim I'm supposed to reap is already an urn and I can't complete the career task "determine cause of death"
What do you expect to see? Dead sim body instead of an urn. 
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Issue appeared with Life &Death expansion

    Examine the lot carefully to see if there should be another dead there. Some times they are hidden behind something.

    I have similar problem.  Playing on PC and one of the bodies disappeared - have looked all over the lot - cant complete the "collect soul" and can't go back to office because it's not an option.  I just spent ages fishing for 24 souls i don't want to have to restart the game!
