Reaper's Rewards: Planting Flowers/Trees not checking off

No matter how many times I plant flowers and which sim I do it with, it doesn't count towards my challenge. I deleted everything from the mod folder - that doesn't change anything. Edit By Crinrict...

No, no scenario's and a brand new save 

I am using better build but the updated version. Of course not after the patch.

I'll take that out and then try again.

    Just checked, removing the mod makes no difference. The tasks won't complete.

      It did help to repair my game. So no mods, repaired game and I was able to complete the planting and week 2. Thanks to both crinrict and luthienrising  for their help!
