Relationship panel need to have relatives icon display

Ever since the update that changed the relationship display & added the profile page, every time I'm going to my sim's relationship panel it is just a total mess.

I have my sim's sons and daughters, mom and dad and grandparents mingled with Sims they only meet once, all with the same display info of “Friend”. Really ?

First a friend then a parent? That motto is nice, but you can't apply it to every instance. I want to identify sim's family members right away!  Or else why bother building a relationship if everybody is just going to be labeled as "Friend” all the same?

Logically this choice of design can't stand either. We already have the green/red bar for an intuitive display of friendship status, have a pink bar for romantic status, the sim is friend or foe is pretty clear just by looking at those two bars. I agree we need a generic icon display for sims we meet with no special relation with,  "acquaintance" and "friend" would do nicely in this situation.

However, when the two sims acquired a specific relationship, they should receive an categorized icon which make them more identifiable. Family/relatives should have their own icon and appropriate description information right at the front, not inside the profile page while the first thing we see in the relationship panel is "Friend". And maybe co-workers should have their own icon too. (I remember that Sims 3 have such features?) 

It doesn't make much sense to me to have a generalized "place-filler" description be placed at higher priority than a more specific relationship. 

We still have that separate icon display marriage status, (at least you kept this special icon,great), so why did the staff decided to eliminate family relationship icon/description? 

Maxis please. give us back the old relative display, at least.

I'm not even going to ask for that extended family and memory system stuff anymore cuz I know that has been asked too many times without been heard.

PLEASE

• Have family/relative icon display in the relationship page under their picture next to the green and pink bar, not inside sim profile 

• AND/OR have a separate relationship category panel tab for family members/relatives.

• AND/OR add sort by relationship: High to Low.

 I'm getting tried of click and click and click again and again to check sim's relatives. 

Try to plan a birthday party/ family gathering with the current game, it is HELL.

Ok while I'm on the subject... party planning. During invite guests,  the choices will get canceled when change category tab. Like I want to invite someone form work and someone in a romantic relationship with simply by switching category tabs and chose form the short list. Can't be done. Or after accept the guest list, I wanted to add a few more to the list, click on co-workers tab. Great, the whole list got cancelled, I have to re-select them from a sea of sims.  Because they are from different relationship groups, thus I have to pick them out one by one form that infinity pool of ALL the sims that the active sim have meet before. With no sorting system whatsoever, it is like looking for a needle in the hay. 

why, Maxis, WHY? Why do you hate family and party? [ just kidding.] [ but no, really]

Nevertheless, HUGE appreciation for the staffs of this game, I love it dearly and always grateful for your work and efforts.

That is why it annoys me so much with those kind of details been made by design.  It is not player friendly, no matter how many times it shows "Friends" to me. (*comical call -back attempt*)
