Removing sim from family unenrolls them from university

I added a townie to my family to teleport them because they were stuck. This townie was a university student and my roommate. When I removed him from my family, it unenrolled him from the university ...

Remove him from family and make him your roommate! Then once he is your roommate switch to play with him and then enroll him! Hope that helps!!!
