Roof building question
Is it even possible to build a roof on this? I’ve been trying to figure out a way to build my “actual” house, but the triangular tiles that share the floor with the room inside seem to be making roof...
@Rae_Regenbogen You can use the custom room tool to outline your whole room. Then redraw walls where you want them. You may want to just outline the whole second story using the custom room tool to make sure it's actually a room. The only reason the roof shows like that is of it isn't counting as a room.
Ah! Okay. I’ll try tomorrow. I feel frustrated by how dumb ceilings and roofs are, and my broken leg is hurting so I’m extra cranky. Lol. Fingers crossed I can somehow fix it in the morning.
@Rae_Regenbogen Here are some links to roofing tutorials also (Thanks @SheriGR )! Getting the roofs to do what you want can be frustrating at times, but once you get the hang of building, it gets better.

But please, let us know how it goes!
Well, I jumped on the console to try to tackle this roofing thing, but my game is repeatedly crashing. It has crashed four times in a row now, and I’m, once again, too frustrated to try to keep playing.
I’m so frustrated with all of the bugs in this game now. I can’t even play most of the time because there are so many bugs that my households are basically stuck and unplayable at the moment. I thought I would try building while I wait for a console patch, but that doesn’t even work. As someone who has played this franchise since the original Sims and has purchased all available content for this version (with the exception of fitness and toddler) and the others, I’m getting so frustrated that I may stop playing the game and this franchise all together. I can’t believe I’m saying that, but we pay the same amount (and it adds up to SO MUCH over the course of a game version) for our game, and EA puts console on the back burner. I know I’m ranting, but after spending over $500 on one game, I should at least be able to play it.
