Roommate Public Affection Trait

I made family's dad an NPC Roommate because I don't want to control him and just wanna focus on the kids going to college, the problem is recently he seems to have gotten the Public Affection hidden trait/roommate Archetype thingy and started flirting with his kids. It's very gross and I know the devs probably didn't imagine players using the Roommates system to add NPC family members but damn really?... why is there nothing that prevents this like wow cmon

PS: this is unrelated to my previous issue but I just wanna also take this opportunity to complain that this game doesn't prevent Step-parents from flirting with their kids. just something that seems to have been around since forever but for some reason not addressed (as far as I know)

@ammaaya, yes, I can see how that would be distressing! 😞  I don't think they intended for anyone to make their Sims' own family members NPC Roommates, so that is probably why this problem exists.  I did both a Search for this bug and check the lists of the known bugs and couldn't find anything on this yet.  It would probably be best if you were to make your own Bug Report here:  https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/The-Sims-4-Bugs

I couldn't find anything on the Step-parent issue in the Bug Report section either, but I've seen other people mention this as a problem.  However, if I remember correctly, this probably isn't considered a bug, but more of an oversight, since technically (genetically/biologically) step-parents/step-children and step-siblings aren't related.  However they are related socially! 🤨  Personally I think this should be changed in the game!
