Sad blue smiley emote?

What is this!??? There is no clear meaning listed in the wiki, tried some old Reddit threads, in ea help forum, and a general Google search and can't find an answer that applies to my situation.

Every time his husband speaks to him, this shows up. There are no hurt sentiments, in sim profile or in debug relationship cheat - no hidden or visable moodlets, all needs are maxed. No 'judgement fear' or anything on their profiles. Their relationship is maxed, 'deeply in love' sentiment is the only one present, no fights or mean interactions, etc. sometimes the conversation between them says awkward but no reason given. This started appearing during their wedding and constantly since. 

I also thought it could be because he wasn't in any clubs, so I signed him up in one but it still shows up. 

Anyone have a clue as to what it is?

    @ZuleGamer Sure looks like a sad/hurt feelings sentiment, but you say you already checked that. It's definitely triggered by the husband, there's no one else around? Do either of them have any negative sentiments with someone else, related to the wedding, that they're maybe being reminded of?

    @PipMenace Not that I could find, i double checked and he doesn't have any sentiments toward his husband. It is actually the husband's sentiment that shows up on both profiles. I can't place what that white and black three person icon that accompanies the emote face is, so I don't know what it means either.

    @ZuleGamerI can't place it either. Are you playing with any mods?

    Edit: I know you said no obvious related moodlets, but your sim must have some, right? My sim almost never has 0 moodlets. Do you really have none, or can you list off what's there?

    @PipMenace yes, but I checked and it still shows up without them 🫤...

    I'm taking them on a date to hopefully earn a sentiment, maybe get rid of any hurt feelings 🤷

    @PipMenaceReply to edit* he's always got a bunch, always flirty/happy, or energized around husband, focused any other time.

    *Edit* always has a bunch - he never has any negative impact moodlets unless he gets stung by a bee, clothes damp from laundry etc, kinda of stuff. Nothing personally impacted by his husband.

    @ZuleGamer  This is kind of a shot in the dark, but does your sim have any lifestyles related to being around other people?  For example, Close Knit or People Person might make your sim sad when he's not fulfilling its requirements.  Or maybe he's a Loner and reacting to the presence of other people.
