Saves not loading after Sept 18 update
I've noticed a huge difference in The Sims 4 loading times since the September 18 update. Previously, loading screens took around 30-40 seconds on my pc, but now they drag on indefinitely. CAS works ...

Been having that kind of trouble too and I play this game on Linux via steam (lutris). I had to get a recovered save but just gaves me a random earlier save.
@cyndi_hill_86 recovered saves are always earlier backups.
Have you checked if you use off the grid as suggested above ?

I am having the same issue and yes, I'm using the 'off the grid' trait.

@Terspichore Off the grid is bugged. Remove it.
