Siblings sharing account help?

Hi! Me and my sister have always shared an EA account on our shared computer. We both have spent quite a bit of money on expacs and we even have the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection. I'm moving to the USA ...

    @friggincommies  EA doesn't allow account sharing, even within the same household.  So while I can't tell you whether this is going to work, I can say that no one is going to help you try to make it work or explain what the possible fixes would be.  That would basically amount to describing how to get around anti-account-sharing features.

    My guess is that this won't work, but I've never tried playing my games from another country, let alone having two computers in two different countries signing in every day.

Unfortunately, sharing EA accounts, including game libraries, isn't allowed.

Since you and your sister have different sleep schedules and wouldn't be logged in at the same time, you could create a schedule where you take turns using the account.

If you reach out to EA Support, They might be able to transfer ownership of certain games/expansion packs to a new (US) account. This could allow you to retain access to the content you've purchased. In some cases, they might allow you to transfer your existing account to a new region, which could resolve the issue of location-based access restrictions.

    @MaraUnmuted  EA customer support will not transfer ownership of content from one account to another.  This is expressly not allowed, with the only exception being the occasional transfer from a parent's account to a child's when the parent didn't realize they couldn't purchase on behalf of the child.  It's also likely not enough to set up a schedule of account sharing, especially when two different countries are involved.
