I have just gotten done following a house building tutorial (fairly new to sims 4). Whenever I press on my sim to go home he doesn’t even walk on the path placed down, then stands in the middle of the yard. I have tried playing around with the front door and tried to go somewhere and come back. Any suggestions? this is a really big issue for me.
Are you referring to the little house icon next to your sims picture? Because that doesn't make them go inside the house. That is just to make them go to the home lot. If you want them to go inside the house, you click where you want them to go, options will appear, and you pick "go here".
Or if that is what you are doing, does the sim have a thought bubble pop up that indicates that they are unable to go inside because something is blocking them? I am not sure if this was fixed, but fences placed across stairs were making them unusable, so you could try removing the fences or just make sure there is nothing blocking your sim's path in general.
@5ilentSorrow Can you include a screenshot of the home? If the foundation is raised at all, are there stairs on the porch or to the door?
