Sim w/ Action Standing Still(Not doing anything)

Every time I choose an action for my sim to complete, they stand in front of the object and do absolutely nothing. I try to fast forward and nothing happens. Ever since the update to fix the crashing...

I have this issue too.. I even installed the latest Simulation Lag Fix mod by SrslySims who took over the mod.. doesn't seem to work apparently. Going to manage worlds and back to the household seem to occasionally fix the bug but it isn't a foolproof solution.
