Like you said I'd make sure you have on full anatomy anatomy. I've heard a few other people with this bug and I saw a lot of answers from people so I would go check other people's questions for responses that might be helpful, but I think that you have to use some kind of cheat to get rid of the glitch. But I mean if its really an issue, you could always cheat their needs.
