Sword isn't in the stone, when I click on 'where is the sword?' it says '______ owns the sword'. Doesn't give an actual name. Not in anyone's inventory. Even if I go to the stone in a completely empty world (no households) the sword isn't there.
Is this right away when you start the new save ? There is a known issue if the owner gets deleted. This one doesn't sound like this though.
Did you try a clean folder ?
Yeah, it's happened in clean saves I've been messing around with new saves to see if the issue continues and it does.

I'm having the exact same issue in a new save on my unmodded laptop (never had any since it can just about run the game as is)... and I've checked every single Sim and not a single one has Simcalibur, so my guess is that it's a game-bug...
