Sims 4 Alien CAS issues

So, I have two very strange issue with my alien npcs. When I open the sim in CAS, for some reason the options for skinstones are just non-existent except for miscellaneous. But more than that, every time I open an NPC alien in CAS, their appearance randomizes. For context, all of these screenshots were taken with mods disabled, so it's not a mod causing it. It also doesn't effect a played alien who retains his alien appearance every time I load into his household. So what gives?

    @cindefeplays Aliens only have the skin color shown and the warm, neutral and cool only appear when you switch to their disguise.

    It would probably be better if they were not showing at all but I'm guessing there's a reason why it was done this way.

    How are you taking the NPCs to CAS ? With the cheat or from manage household ? Do you have fulleditmode on or off ?

    I don't use a cheat to get to the NPCs household. I go into manage worlds and open it from there. Having full edit mode on or off also doesn't seem to make a difference- the glitch is still happening whenever I load into an NPC's household, that their alien appearance keeps randomizing.
