Sims 4 and Idle

I think Sims 4 have a massive problem with overuse some idles and because of this users begin to hate these idle, that have been created with love. I really think the team should a little bit tunning these idles. Examples for idle that the team made me hate:

  1. Reaction to dust; Give these Idle a cooldown from 12- 24 sim hours and don’t play it if sims change floors.
  2. Reaction to décor; This is a bad idle, the sim stop all his task to run to furniture to clap his hands. This should never... never make it live! (And it should never play if the player has autonomy off for his sim)

Generally, I would recommend if the team made new idles, please, please use a cooldown mechanic for this. We want cute idles but we don’t want idles who plays in short time again and again. It’s the same with a favourite song. You can hear it maybe 30 times in a short period but eventually you have enough from this song.

    @daikoyu I agree. It's really annoying especially when your trying to be productive and your sim just wants to look at a random painting all day.

    My Sims have woken from sleep, gotten out of bed, and walked downstairs to admire their favorite decor. 

    There is a bug report for this, and I "me, too"ed it there. 

    Not a game-breaking bug as, push come to shove, I can cheat Energy Motive to full, but plainly not working as intended.
