Sims 4 can’t click anything
Since the October 22nd update, my game won’t work.
I cannot click on objects, sims or anything around the lot/world.
I have taken all my mods out, repaired the game, cleared the localthumbcacne, ...

Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Repair the game
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
It took me six months to get my game running again after months of repairs and customizing due to an app change. Just when I finally found some normalcy, here I am again, spending another month trying to figure out what’s wrong with my game. I’ve checked every mod repeatedly, and while the game eventually starts up, I can’t click on my Sims once I’m inside the house. Sometimes the menu appears when I click on them, but I still have no control. There are no error messages—just an inability to interact with the Sims. Oh I have repaired the game but still can play it. Help
- @SimsLover7372 Do you have the same issue if you remove all your mods/cc and delete the localthumbcache file (make sure to test a backup of your save)
